Alma Farrell

Alma Farrell joined the U.S. Army in November 2002. She completed Basic Training at Fort Jackson and Advanced Individual Training at Fort Lee as a 92Y Unit Supply Specialist.

She was stationed at Fort Hood, Texas, with the 4th Corps Materiel Management Center under the 13th Expeditionary Sustainment Command, and deployed to Iraq with her unit in 2004. She served until November 2005, leaving the Army as a Specialist.

Her awards include the National Defense Service Medal, the Army Service Ribbon, the Global War on Terrorism Expeditionary Medal, and the Global War on Terrorism Service Medal.

After separating from the Army she devoted her life to her family and children. She now serves as Auxiliary Secretary of American Legion Post 38 in Floresville, Texas.
